Heartwood House is a unique waterview post and beam home crafted of Orcas Island alder, Madrona and fir.  Hardwood floors, hand carved doors and windows, artistically tiled walls and countertops will enchant you. 

This beautifully  furnished home has two bedrooms, a studio/den and two full baths (tubs w/ showers) and will accommodate 8-10 quite comfortably.  Sleeping arrangements include a queen (Master); full futon and seating area (studio/den) and a queen and trundles (downstairs), plus two twins in the great room.  A portable crib and highchair are available, upon request.

The Kitchen and Great Room face south, down the Sound, with cable TV/VCR and CD player.  The kitchen is fully equipped for large family gatherings- all electric appliances (including microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer) and propane grill on the deck.  There’s a rolling lawn for the kids and beach access a five minute walk away.

Heartwood House is fully furnished with all linens, towels and turnover cleaning included in the rental rate. Local telephone service provided-use a calling card for long distance.
