GETTING HERE
Orcasis
one of the San Juan Islands, located in Washington State's famous Puget Sound.
It is on the Washington State Ferry route and can be reached via either the
Anacortes terminal on the Washington State side, or the Sidney terminal on the
Canadian side of the Sound. If driving from Seattle, take I-5 north
approximately 60 miles to exit 230 just north of Mt. Vernon. Travel west to
Anacortes, following the signs to the San Juan Ferries. Call (800) 843-3779 for
current ferry information. The ferries are very busy in the summer so be sure to
plan on being in line at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Reservations are not accepted for
sailing to the San Juan Islands - only to Victoria, BC.
